What we did
With a number of days until the announcement of the movie, we were working in collaboration with the Nintendo UK Store to devise a way to bring traffic to the store via the buzz of the movie. We produced a landing page where the store supported the launch campaign of the movie in cinemas. This brought in new interest to the site and brought in sales of the store for many Pokémon related items and the subsequent ticket sales of the movie. All of this was in conjunction with the latest Pokémon games being announced, Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield.
The incentive to register interest? We offered 2 free tickets to a randomly selected registration to an exclusive movie screening held somewhere in London.
